Asap Rokok Kandung 4.000 Zat Kimia Berbahaya
Yogyakarta (ANTARA) - Asap rokok mengandung lebih dari 4.000 zat kimia berbahaya seperti karbon monoksida, sianida, uap fosfor, uap senyawa belerang, dan uap hasil pembakaran zat tambahan, kata mantan Ketua Ikatan Dokter Indonesia Kartono Muhammad.
"Bahaya asap rokok 10 kali lebih besar daripada zat `ter` dalam rokok," katanya pada lokakarya Menuju Kawasan Tanpa Rokok 100 Persen di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY), di Asri Medical Center (AMC) Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), Senin.
Oleh karena itu, menurut dia, asap rokok lebih membahayakan perokok pasif daripada perokok aktif. Dalam asap rokok kadarnya beberapa kali lebih besar dibanding yang diserap oleh perokok aktif.
"Dalam satu batang rokok mengandung sekitar 1,5 persen nikotin. Endapan asap rokok yang berupa hasil pembakaran nikotin mudah melekat di benda-benda dalam ruangan, dan bisa bertahan sampai lebih dari tiga tahun, dan tetap berbahaya," katanya.
Advisor Indonesia Institute Social for Development Sudibyo Markus mengatakan Indonesia merupakan konsumen rokok peringkat tiga terbesar di dunia setelah China dan India.
Menurut dia, sekitar 240 miliar batang rokok telah dihisap oleh 240 juta penduduk Indonesia. Tingginya jumlah perokok tersebut disebabkan masih rendahnya kesadaran mengenai bahaya nikotin dalam rokok.
Selain itu, juga masih adanya anggapan di kalangan masyarakat bahwa rokok adalah warisan budaya. Anggapan tersebut membuat sebagian besar masyarakat enggan untuk meninggalkan kebiasaan merokok.
"Kondisi itu ditambah dengan iklan-iklan di media yang menganggap bahwa merokok adalah gaul, modern, dan jantan," katanya.
Rektor UMY Dasron Hamid mengatakan aturan mengenai larangan merokok penting diterapkan di ruang-ruang publik, karena asap rokok berbahaya bagi kesehatan manusia.
"Aturan tersebut diharapkan dapat diimplementasikan di ruang-ruang publik terutama sekolah, kampus, dan kantor. Dengan adanya aturan itu diharapkan nanti seluruh ruang publik bisa benar-benar 100 persen bebas rokok," katanya.

Telah dimaklumi bahwa Allah ta`ala menciptakan wanita dgn tabiat senang berhias. Dan dgn kemurahan-Nya Dia membolehkan wanita memakai seluruh perhiasan yg ada selama tdk ada dalil yg melarang dan membolehkan wanita menempuh cara-cara yg diperkenankan oleh syariat guna mempercantik dan menghias dirinya.
Namun di sana ada sisi yg tdk boleh diabaikan.
Syariat menetapkan wanita adl aurat sebagaimana disabdakan Rasul yg mulia shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam:
}
“Wanita itu adl aurat mk bila ia keluar rumah setan menyambutnya. “
Yang nama aurat berarti membuat malu bila terlihat oleh orang lain hingga perlu dijaga dgn baik. Karena wanita adl aurat berarti suatu hal yg mengundang malu bila ia terlihat oleh lelaki yg bukan mahram apalagi bila terlihat dlm keadaan berhias. Dengan demikian wanita tdk diperbolehkan menampakkan perhiasan di hadapan lelaki yg bukan mahram. Bahkan ia harus menutupi khusus ketika keluar rumah dan ketika berhadapan dgn pandangan lelaki krn menampakkan perhiasan di hadapan mereka dapat mengundang fitnah.
Allah melarang wanita utk memperdengarkan suara dari perhiasan yg tersembunyi di balik baju apatah lagi tentu bila menampakkan wujud perhiasan yg sedang dikenakan.
Dia yg Maha Suci berfirman:

لاَ يَضْرِبْنَ بِأَرْجُلِهِنَّ لِيُعْلَمَ مَا يَخْفِيْنَ مِنْ زِيْنَتِهِنَّ ﴾
“Dan janganlah mereka menghentakkan kaki-kaki mereka agar diketahui perhiasan yg mereka sembunyikan.”
Al-Imam Al-Qurthubi rahimahullah berkata: “Janganlah seorang wanita menghentakkan kaki ketika berjalan utk memperdengarkan suara gelang kaki yg dikenakan krn memperdengarkan suara perhiasan yg sedang dipakai sama dgn memperlihatkan wujud perhiasan tersebut bahkan lebih. Sasaran dari pelarangan ini adalah agar wanita menutup diri .” Beliau melanjutkan: “Siapa di antara wanita yg melakukan hal ini karena bangga dengan perhiasan yg dipakai mk perbuatan tersebut makruh. Dan bila ia melakukan dengan maksud tabarruj dan sengaja menunjukkan kepada kaum lelaki maka ini haram lagi tercela.”
Dalam ayat lain Allah ta`ala melarang kaum wanita utk keluar rumah dgn ber-tabarruj
وَقَرْنَ فِي بُيُوْتِكُنَّ وَلاَ تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ الأُوْلَى
“Dan tetaplah kalian tinggal di rumah-rumah kalian dan jangan bertabarruj sebagaimana tabarruj orang2 jahiliyyah yg dahulu.”
Asy-Syaikh Abdurrahman bin Nashir As-Sa’di rahimahullah menafsirkan ayat di atas dgn ucapannya: “Yakni kalian jangan banyak keluar rumah dgn berdandan dan memakai wewangian seperti kebiasaan orang2 jahiliyyah dahulu yg mereka itu tdk memiliki ilmu dan tdk pula memiliki agama.”
Dalam Islam wanita diperintah utk berhijab ketika berhadapan dgn lelaki yg bukan mahram sama saja apakah di luar rumah ataupun di dlm rumah.
Ayat Allah telah berbicara tentang hijab ini.
﴿ وَقُلْ لِلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِنَّ وَقُلْ لِلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِنَّ وَيَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوجَهُنَّ وَلاَ يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلاَّ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَلْيَضْرِبْنَ بِخُمُرِهِنَّ عَلَى جُيُوبِهِنَّ وَلاَ يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلاَّ لِبُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ آبَائِهِنَّ أَوْ آبَاءِ بُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ أَبْنَائِهِنَّ أَوْ أَبْنَاءِ بُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ إِخْوَانِهِنَّ أَوْ بَنِي إِخْوَانِهِنَّ أَوْ بَنِي إِخْوَانِهِنَّ أَوْ بَنِي أَخَوَاتِهِنَّ أَوْ نِسَائِهِنَّ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُنَّ أَوْ التَّابِعِينَ غَيْرِ أُوْلِي اْلإِرْبَةِ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ أَوْ الطِّفْلِ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يَظْهَرُوا عَلَى عَوْرَاتِ النِّسَاءِ وَلاَ يَضْرِبْنَ بِأَرْجُلِهِنَّ لِيُعْلَمَ مَا يُخْفِينَ مِنْ زِينَتِهِنَّ وَتُوبُوا إِلَى اللهِ جَمِيعًا أَيُّهَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ﴾.
 “Katakanlah kepada wanita-wanita mukminah: Hendaklah mereka menundukkan pandangan mata mereka dan menjaga kemaluan mereka serta jangan menampakkan perhiasan mereka kecuali apa yg biasa tampak dari . Hendaklah pula mereka menutupkan kerudung mereka di atas leher-leher mereka dan jangan mereka tampakkan perhiasan mereka kecuali di hadapan suami-suami mereka atau ayah-ayah mereka atau ayah-ayah suami mereka atau di hadapan putra-putra mereka atau putra-putra suami mereka atau di hadapan saudara laki2 mereka atau putra-putra saudara laki2 mereka atau putra-putra saudara perempuan mereka atau di hadapan wanita-wanita mereka atau budak yg mereka miliki atau laki2 yg tdk punya syahwat terhadap wanita atau anak laki2 yg masih kecil yg belum mengerti aurat wanita. Dan jangan pula mereka menghentakkan kaki-kaki mereka ketika berjalan di hadapan laki2 yg bukan mahram agar diketahui perhiasan yg mereka sembunyikan dan hendaklah kalian semua bertaubat kepada Allah wahai kaum mukminin semoga kalian beruntung.”
Allah ta`ala dlm ayat di atas memerintahkan kaum wanita agar jangan memperlihatkan perhiasan mereka kecuali di hadapan beberapa orang yg disebutkan dlm ayat. Semua ini dlm rangka berhati-hati dari fitnah. Kemudian Allah mengecualikan perhiasan yg boleh ditampakkan yaitu perhiasan luar yg biasa nampak dan tdk mungkin ditutupi. Karena memang perhiasan wanita itu ada yg dzahir dan ada yg batin . Perhiasan dzahir boleh dilihat oleh semua orang baik dari kalangan mahram maupun ajnabi adapun yg batin mk tdk halal ditampakkan kecuali di hadapan orang2 yg Allah sebutkan dlm ayat di atas. Manusia berselisih pendapat tentang batasan perhiasan luar seorang wanita.
Al-Hafidz Ibnu Katsir rahimahullah berkata: “Allah menyatakan: ‘Jangan menampakkan perhiasan mereka kecuali apa yg biasa tampak dari ‘ yakni para wanita tdk boleh menampakkan sesuatu dari perhiasan kepada lelaki ajnabi kecuali perhiasan yg tdk mungkin disembunyikan seperti rida dan tsiyab yg dikatakan Ibnu Mas’ud.”
Allah ta`ala berfirman kepada Nabi-Nya:

﴿ يَاأَ يُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُلْ ِ لأَزْوَاجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَاءِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ أَنْ يُعْرَفْنَ فَلاَ يُؤْذَيْنَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ جَلاَبِيبِهِنَّ ذَلِكَ أَدْنَى وَكَانَ اللهُ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا ﴾.
“Wahai Nabi katakanlah kepada istri-istrimu dan putri-putrimu serta wanita-wanita kaum mukminin hendaklah mereka mengulurkan jilbab-jilbab mereka di atas tubuh mereka. Yang demikian itu lbh pantas bagi mereka utk dikenali hingga mereka tdk diganggu. Dan adl Allah Maha Pengampun lagi Penyayang.”
Allah berfirman kepada kaum mukminin:
﴿ وَإِذَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُنَّ مَتَاعًا فَاسْأَلُوهُنَّ مِنْ وَرَاءِ حِجَابٍ ذَلِكُمْ أَطْهَرُ لِقُلُوبِكُمْ وَقُلُوبِهِنَّ ﴾.
“Apabila kalian meminta sesuatu kepada para istri Nabi mk mintalah dari balik tabir. Yang demikian itu lbh suci bagi hati-hati kalian dan hati-hati mereka.”
Anas bin Malik radliallahu ‘anhu berkisah tentang awal mula turun perintah hijab ini: Aku berusia sepuluh tahun tatkala Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam hijrah ke Madinah. mk mulailah aku melayani beliau sampai waktu sepuluh tahun dari akhir kehidupan beliau. Aku adl orang yg paling tahu saat diturunkan perintah hijab bertepatan dgn pernikahan Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam dgn Zainab bintu Jahsyin. Pagi hari setelah malam pengantin Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam mengadakan walimah dgn menyajikan roti dan gandum. Aku pun diutus utk mengundang para shahabatnya. Datanglah undangan sekelompok demi sekelompok mereka menyantap hidangan kemudian keluar demikian seterusnya. Aku memanggil semua shahabat beliau hingga tdk tersisa seorang pun kecuali telah menyantap hidangan. Aku katakan kepada beliau “Wahai Nabi Allah aku tdk mendapatkan lagi orang yg bisa aku panggil utk menyantap hidangan walimah ini.” Beliau berkata “Bila demikian angkatlah makanan kalian.” Di antara para undangan ada tiga orang yg belum beranjak dari tempat tinggal Nabi mereka asyik berbincang-bincang hingga tinggal lama di tempat beliau. Beliau pun bangkit dan keluar. Aku ikut keluar bersama beliau agar orang2 yg masih tinggal tersebut merasa dan berpikir utk keluar. Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam berjalan aku pun turut berjalan hingga beliau sampai di ambang pintu rumah ‘Aisyah radhiallhu ‘anha. Lalu berkata: “Assalamu`alaikum wa rahmatullahi wahai ahlul bait.” ‘Aisyah menjawab: “Wa`alaikassalam wa rahmatullah bagaimana engkau dapatkan istrimu yg sekarang semoga Allah memberkahimu.” Setelah itu beliau mendatangi rumah istri-istri beliau seluruh dan mengatakan sebagaimana perkataan beliau kepada ‘Aisyah dan mereka pun mengucapkan kepada beliau semisal dgn ucapan ‘Aisyah . Beliau menyangka tiga orang yg berada di rumah beliau telah pergi beliau pun kembali dan aku ikut menyertai sampai beliau masuk menemui Zainab. Ternyata mereka masih tetap duduk berkumpul di tempat tersebut belum beranjak pergi. Sementara Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam adl orang yg sangat pemalu . Beliau keluar lagi dan aku tetap menyertai hingga sampai di ambang pintu rumah ‘Aisyah. Lalu ketika beliau memastikan mereka telah pergi beliaupun kembali dan aku ikut bersama beliau. Ketika kaki beliau menjejak ambang pintu beliau pun menutupkan tirai antara aku dan beliau .”
Mungkin ada yg beranggapan bahwa berhijab ini merupakan perintah yg khusus bagi ummahatul mukminin tdk berlaku bagi wanita selain mereka. mk kita tanyakan siapakah yg lbh suci hati daripada Ummahatul Mukminin dan para shahabat Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam yg Allah telah mempersaksikan keimanan mereka dan Dia ridha terhadap mereka? Mereka diperintah utk berhijab demi lbh menjaga kesucian hati mereka lalu bagaimana lagi dgn orang2 sekarang yg banyak dikuasai setan? Adakah mereka mengaku hati mereka lbh suci daripada istri-istri Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam di dunia dan akhirat sehingga mereka tdk perlu berhijab?
Asy-Syaikh Ibnu Baz rahimahullah berkata tentang ayat Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala:
﴿ وَإِذَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُنَّ مَتَاعًا فَاسْأَلُوهُنَّ مِنْ وَرَاءِ حِجَابٍ ذَلِكُمْ أَطْهَرُ لِقُلُوبِكُمْ وَقُلُوبِهِنَّ ﴾.
“Apabila kalian meminta sesuatu kepada para istri Nabi mk mintalah dari balik tabir. Yang demikian itu lbh suci bagi hati-hati kalian dan hati-hati mereka.”
“Hukum yg disebutkan dlm ayat ini berlaku umum utk istri Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam dan selain mereka dari kalangan wanita-wanita kaum mukminin”
Beliau juga menyatakan: “Ayat yg mulia ini merupakan nash yg jelas tentang wajib wanita berhijab dan menutup diri dari lelaki. Allah subhanahu wa ta`ala menjelaskan dlm ayat ini bahwa berhijab itu lbh suci bagi hati kaum lelaki dan wanita dan lbh menjauhkan dari perbuatan keji dan sebab-sebabnya. Allah mengisyaratkan bahwa tdk berhijab merupakan kekotoran dan kenajisan sedang berhijab merupakan kesucian dan keselamatan.”
Asy-Syaikh Shalih bin Fauzan Al-Fauzan hafizhahullah berkata: “Sekalipun lafadz ayat ini ditujukan kepada para istri Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam namun hukum umum utk seluruh wanita yg beriman krn perintah berhijab itu ditetapkan dgn alasan yg dinyatakan Allah ta`ala dgn firman-Nya:
﴿ذَلِكُمْ أَطْهَرُ لِقُلُوبِكُمْ وَقُلُوبِهِنَّ ﴾.
“Yang demikian itu lbh suci bagi hati-hati kalian dan hati-hati mereka.”
Alasan seperti ini jelas berlaku umum mk keumuman alasan menunjukkan keumuman hukumnya.”
Berhijab berarti kemuliaan bagi seorang wanita krn akan membedakan diri dgn wanita yg tdk baik di samping sebagai penjagaan bagi diri dari kerusakan dan kejelekan yg semakin merata. Sungguh musuh Islam telah mengetahui bahwa keluar wanita dgn tabarruj merupakan satu pintu dari sekian pintu kejelekan dan kerusakan. Dan bila wanita rusak mk akan rusak pula masyarakatnya. Karena itulah mereka begitu berambisi utk menanggalkan hijab dari wanita muslimah dan mengoyak tirai malu dgn berbagai propaganda syaithaniyyah. Dan sedikit banyak mereka bisa mempengaruhi kaum muslimin dgn propaganda busuk nan berbisa tersebut hingga kita dapatkan ada kaum muslimin yg merasa “risih” dan “gerah” bila melihat seorang wanita mengenakan hijabnya. Bahkan ada di antara kaum muslimin yg mengaku kenal agama ikut berkoar-koar menentang hijab wallahu al-musta’an .
Wahai wanita mukminah sesungguh hijab itu akan menjagamu dari pandangan-pandangan beracun yg terlahir dari hati-hati yg sedang sakit. Dengan berhijab akan memutus selera syahwat para serigala utk menjerat dan memangsamu. Karena itu jagalah dgn baik hijabmu dan jangan sekali-kali tertipu dgn propaganda yg berbisa dari para penipu krn tdk ada yg mereka inginkan darimu kecuali kejelekan sebagaimana Allah ta`ala berfirman:
﴿وَ يُرِيْدُ الَّذِيْنَ يَتَّبِعُوْنَ الشَّهْوَاتِ أَنْ تَمِيْلُوْا مَيْلاً عَظِيْمًا﴾
“Dan orang2 yg mengikuti syahwat berkeinginan agar kalian berpaling sejauh-jauh dari kebenaran.”
Allah sajalah yg memberi hidayah dan taufik. Wallahu ta`ala a`lam bish-shawab

Parts of Paragraph



See the steps to write a good paragraph

The Introductory Topic Sentence:
The Introductory topic sentence states the main idea of the paragraph. A good topic sentence gives a general idea, not specific.
I love soft rock's rich music.
I love soft rock songs mixing all kinds of instruments and romantic lyrics.
Which one of these statements gives a general idea? If you said "I love soft rock's rich music," you are right. The first statement is a general idea about what kind of music the author likes, the second are reasons for why the author likes soft rock. See more about the main topic sentence.
Exercise 1:
There are two different paragraphs in the following. Write a topic sentence for each paragraph.
Paragraph 1:
Until last year, in front of the school a large vacant lot spread into the street. Kids played in the lot. It was dangerous because glass and cans were lying around. However, the kids had no other place to play unless they wanted to play in the street. But, with all voluntary neighborhood funds we turned the lot into a playground. Local business has donated playground equipment and money. We all pitched in to clean up the lot. The city provided a trash truck to haul the junk away.
Paragraph 2:
My sister and her husband live in Texas. He is in the military and she is a teacher. They have three beautiful children. Ron, Dan and Tanya. They live in a large house in the suburb. They want to cultivate a garden in the large backyard of the house next year.
Supporting Sentences:
Look at these sentences above again.
I love soft rock's rich music.
Soft rock mixes all kinds of instruments, rhythms and lyrics.
The second sentence is a good example for a supporting sentence. A good supporting sentence states specific details to explain the topic sentence. Do you see how this sentence gives the reasons in detail why the author favors the soft rock music?
Good supporting sentences provide details. Supporting sentences can also provide examples. Below are more examples for good supporting sentences.
Exercise 2: Add one more supporting sentence of your own to the end of the paragraph.
Soft rock instruments range from most traditional instruments such as piano, to most modern such as a new mouth piece. For example, the song by Lionel Richie, I Call It Love, includes several instruments. (Add your supporting sentence here.)
Exercise 3:
Using the Internet, find some articles of your interest. Read first two sentences in the articles and then write two different paragraphs. Make sure you understand the topic. Then complete each paragraph by adding two or more sentences. It doesn't matter if you stray from the facts. The purpose of this exercise is to help you write coherent paragraphs with a topic sentence and supporting sentences. Remember, each sentence you add on must give new information about the topic. Conclusion Sentence:
The conclusion sentence sumps up the paragraph. It is usually more general than the supporting sentences. It gives the reader the final assurance of the topic statement and supporting sentences. Now, here is the conclusion sentence for the topic above, I love soft rock's rich music.
Because of the richness in instrument, melody and lyrics, I enjoy soft rock very much.
Notice that this sentence pulls together all the ideas and restates the main idea.

AUTOBIOGRAPHY
The writer was born in Sukabumi on Sept 10th, 1974. His name is Abdul Rohman. He is the fifth from seven siblings. He has three brother and three sisters. His father’s name is Mr. Madsuki and his mother’s name is Mrs. Yaya Maryani.
Formal education which is gone through is SDN Pasir Oa graduated in 1987. Then he continued to Junior High School SMPN 1 Kalapanunggal graduated in 1992. And in 1995 he completed his education at Senior Technical High School in STMN Sukabumi.
After finishing his education at Senior High School, He worked at Foreign Company as Mechanical and Electrical Assistance Site Manager at Mechanical Electrical Department until 1998. In 1998-present he still works at Private Company as Senior Technical Leader at General Affair Department, especially at Factory Maintenance and Utility Section. And in 2007 he continued his study to STKIP Kusuma Negara Jakarta in English Major English Language Education.

INTRODUCTION

A.    The Background of the Research
Good listening skills are vital to healthy relationships. Whether you're strengthening a relationship, resolving a conflict, or offering support in a facing a crisis, good listening skills can be a lifeline to peace. Learn how to be a truly supportive listener, and you may find yourself surrounded by others who are able to do the same. If you have children you know what it's like to feel like you're talking to a wall. Kids have an uncanny ability to appear to be listening to you while actually paying no attention at all. While this is something that may pass with age it is important to help children develop good listening skills early. They will do better in school and you will keep your sanity.
Listening is a skill that tends to get neglected for various reasons. Among others things are:
1.      The feeling among language teachers that this skill is automatically acquired by the learner as he/she learns to speak the language.
2.      Listening is not given serious attention the fact that in competence in it is easily to hide through nodding and shaking of the head, which may give the impression of understanding even there is none.
3.      Audio lingual course give the impression that they are teaching listening when in fact teaching other skill.

At the SMPN 2 Cikarang Pusat, English language material is the subject must be followed by all students from the seventh grade to ninth grade. There are some problem involve in language learning. Based on it, the writer chose this problem become object research in his research. This some problem which involve at SMPN 2 Cikarang Pusat, such as:
1.      The school location is rather far from the center of the district administration, Bekasi.
2.      The students come from many background of their family in which the low middle classes.
3.      English language still become one of the difficulties subject at SMP level, especial at seventh grade of the students
In School Base curriculum 2006, there are some competence standards and basic competence which have to be reach by students have to understand the meaning in simple oral transactional and interpersonal conversation to interact in daily contact as competent ion standard. The basic competence is to respond the meaning in simple oral transactional and interpersonal conversation accurately, fluently, and pitchy in daily life context about asking and giving certainment, adoubtment, asking repeatment, attention and admiration.
The learning process of these competences standards and basic competence are the students can:
1.      Understanding the speech about asking and giving certainment, adoubment, asking  repeatment, attention and admiration.
2.      Mention the meaning of the sentence or words about asking and giving certainment, adoubment, asking repeatment, attention and adiration.
3.      Show the word that is spoken by person about asking and giving certainment, adoument, asking repeatment, attention and admiration.
It is also necessary to mention that listening is one of the skills on some language tests is reason enough to be taught besides the enjoyable activities as learner may indulge in the target language such as listening to the radio, listening to the English song and watching movies – demand that learner exercise this skill. The skill mastery of listening is very important in everyday life. Without listening we cannot understand what the people say, so the communication will not smooth and it tend not continue.
In learning English sometimes the students are bored certain teaching atmosphere. There are various techniques used for teaching skills; Listening, Speaking, Writing and Reading. There are also various medias used for teaching English and improve their listening skill which could make the students feel interest to the learning process and enjoy it such as pictures, sound of music, English song and also English movies. Whit this medias, the teaching listening process will more interest and enjoyable for the students.
Watching English movies or other audio visual as media in teaching English helps sensitivity to the students’ sense of hearing. The influence of watching English movies is improving students’ listening skill. Many children and teenager like movies so much and it could make learning process is easier. They will be interested and happy. Learning listening with English movies or audio visual media can improve their listening skill. Concerning the facts above, it is expected that research on teaching listening can offer an alternative in providing the technique in teaching listening, motivating the students to learn English and can be useful for those who are interested in teaching listening.
Several years back there was a public service announcement that ran on television. It talked about the importance of good listening skills and the difference between hearing and listening. Hearing is a physical ability while listening is a skill. Listening skills allow one to make sense of and understand what another person is saying. In other words, listening skills allow you to understand what someone is “talking about” Good listening skills making workers more productive. The ability to listen carefully will allow you to:
·         Better understand assignments and what is expected of you;
·         Build rapport with co-workers, bosses, and clients;
·         Show support;
·         Work better in a team-based environment;
·         Resolve problems with customers, co-workers, and bosses;
·         Answer questions; and
·         Finding underlying meanings in what others say.
. As the SCANS report points out, good listening skills will prepare children to eventually succeed in the workforce.
The Audio lingual Method is a method for teaching foreign languages. Linguists at the University of Michigan invented this method in the late 1950s. In the audio lingual method, students first hear a language. Later, they speak the language, and after that, they read and write in it. This way of language teaching is similar to the Direct Method. Like the Direct Method, the Audio-lingual Method doesn’t use the students’ native language. For example, if you are in an English class in Turkey, the teacher only speaks English, and no Turkish. However, unlike the Direct Method, the Audio-lingual Method does not teach vocabulary. Rather, the teacher drills grammar. In the Audio-lingual method, grammar is most important for the student. In other words, the student must repeat grammar patterns after the teacher. The students don’t learn lots of vocabulary. This method also uses psychology. The students get a reward for speaking correctly. They get punishment if they speak incorrectly; because it is based on habit formation, which is establishes by stimulus, response and reinforcement. It gives priority to speaking the target language, and using the native language is not allowed.
B.     The Identification of the Problem
Base on the background of the problem the writer would like to seek the answer to the following problem that can be identified as follows:
1.      How can The Audio Lingual Method help both the teacher and the students in teaching and learning process?
2.      How can The Audio Lingual Method improve the students’ listening ability?
3.      How does the teacher teach listening using Audio Lingual Method to the students of  SMPN 2 Cikarang Pusat?
4.      What are the benefits of the research?


C.     The Limitation of the Problem
The writer has limited the paper to effectiveness of Teaching Listening Using Audio Lingual Method to improve students’ listening to the seventh grade of junior high school at SMPN 2 Cikarang Pusat – Bekasi.
To get accurate result about the effect of English movies or English audiovisual to improve students’ listening ability, the writer has chosen the title “Teaching Listening Skill through Audio Lingual Methode at the Seventh Grade of SMPN 2 Cikarang Pusat – Bekasi”
D.    The Formulation of  the Problem
Based on the limitation of the problem it can be formulated as follows: How does the Teacher Teach Listening Skill through Audio Lingual Method at the Seventh Grade Students of SMPN 2 Cikarang Pusat – Bekasi?
E.     The Benefits of the Research
The writer hopes study will give the benefit for all. Usefulness of the study is to find out the question which has been formulated in the statement of the problem. There are also some benefits here such as:

  1. For The Writer
a.       The writer will get experience of English science, and add the knowledge because the writer searched the variety source to find the information that has relation with the title.
b.      The writer knows the theory about natural approach and also hopes it will be applied in teaching listening.

a.       The students should be active in learning process through Audio Lingual Method
b.      The students should prepare the material need to support the Audio Lingual Method
c.       The students should speak English clearly during Audio Lingual method so the audience can understand on the conversation.
d.      The students should gather information from many resources to make the Audio Lingual Method more interactive and interesting.
  1. For The English Teacher
a.       The teacher should give enough explanation about the Audio lingual method through some exercise.
b.      The teacher should guide the students to listen carefully and correctly.
c.       The teacher should motivate the students who are shy.
d.      The teacher should establish the students for time for students to search the information from the internet and prepared the materials.
e.       The teacher can be considered to choose the suitable method in teaching listening base on the characteristics of their students, the situation in class room, and also the curriculum and make the enjoyable situation.

a.       The institution should prepare some books needed for the teacher and students.
b.      The institution should prepared book Audio Lingual Method as reference for teacher and students.
c.       The institution should hold workshop or training about character building to encourage the students to be confidence in order to speak up.
d.      The institution should provider of the internet so it will work fast.
